Content streams will give you social post suggestions every 24 hours based on your recent app activity. Using streams, you can simplify the content curation process and avoid worrying about what to post on social media.
Creating a New Stream
Log in to the app you'd like to connect. For example, if you're connecting your Youtube channel, start by logging into that channel at https://www.youtube.com.
Click on your profile avatar at the top right of your dashboard and then click Connected Accounts from the drop-down menu.
Scroll down until you see Integrations, click on the type of app you'd like to connect to. A workspace can only have one app of the same kind connected to it. Consider creating a new Comity workspace to connect multiple accounts from the same app.
That's all you need to do to create a stream. Comity will automatically check for new activities and send you social post ideas.
Scheduling Posts from Streams
If there are any new activities, steams will send you social media post ideas.
Click the "Share" connection below the stream card to make a post from the stream notifications. The post editor will open with some pre-filled and pre-captured content.
In a dropdown menu, you can access pre-captured information. To see what information has been captured, click the (+) icon in the top right corner of the editor. You may use these shortcuts to insert data or simply modify the post as you see fit.
When you schedule a post from a stream notification, it will be removed from your stream.
Deleting Stream Notifications
Every day, Comity will automatically clear stream objects that are older than 7 days. You can delete your stream updates at any time by clicking the Dismiss button at the bottom.
